Spect started in 2024 when our founder spent a weekend pulling inspection PDFs for a single home purchase and realized the data was scattered across five different vendors. He pitched a simple aggregator. Two years later, Spect is a network of buyers, sellers, agents, contractors, and inspectors all working from the same record.

The Spect Quality Score combines inspection findings, defect history, and local repair benchmarks into a single 0–100 number. Buyers use it to compare homes; sellers use it to prove condition; agents use it to win listings; pros use it to land jobs.
